To maintain details in the shadows, over 6 digital lights were placed in this scene. The waves appear to be painted on with lights.
Making these with computer software allows Dunkley to remove textures one would normally associate with water and replace them with unrealistic textures like concrete.
This scene was fully created on a computer. No photographs were taken.
